Back-end Product Engineer

We are looking for product-motivated Engineers to help our users take control of their financial lives. You’ll work directly with our VP Engineering and the rest of the team to design, implement and evolve our infrastructure and backend.

London · Full-time

We’re building a financial education platform to help our diverse user base become smarter investors in less than 15 minutes a day. 💸

The Problem:

There are a plethora of options available to retail investors for buying shares & ETFs, but what’s missing is the knowledge to invest with confidence.

Our product:

We’re building the world’s largest finance community, plus a suite of educational audio and text content, all produced in-house. We aim to solve problems we know our users face when making investments.

Our products have a huge impact on our users’ lives. The more diverse ideas we can bring in from our team, the better we can serve our audience.

Our Team

We are an enthusiastic team of entrepreneurs, engineers and creatives. Our aim is to create an environment where everyone in our team is listened to, and empowered to improve our product, processes and culture. We encourage self-starters, and look for candidates who want to grow along with the company.

From a technical perspective, you should be motivated by learning new things and always striving to improve how you work. We value Engineers who are excited by building world-class digital experiences used by millions of passionate users. We place significant emphasis on keeping our codebase clean and maintainable, so this should be important to you.

Although our Engineers generally have an area of focus/interest, you’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills in other parts of the stack, and we aim to keep the work diverse and exciting.

Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other marginalised folks tend to only apply when they check every box. So, if you think you have what it takes, but don’t necessarily meet every single point on the job description, please still get in touch. We’d love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit.

How to apply

Send us an email at jobs@finimize.com with a brief intro and your CV. You need to be able to work in London to be considered.

We’ll let you know we received your application and, if it makes sense, we’ll have a Skype call or grab a coffee to chat about things further 😀

👋 Psst... We're an equal opportunity employer and value diversity on our team.
